The Day After Tomorrow-Film Review

If you are interested in amazing special effects and heroic characters, this is deffinatly a film to check out. Another epic disaster movie by Ronald Emmerich. An ice age is coming but only Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid) has realised it. Super storms, tidal waves and hail stones attack the globe and shows people whats happening. People realise how serious it is when they see the 'Hollywood' sign has been swept away.
Sam Hall (Jake Gyllenhaal), Jacks teenage son, is stuck in the frozen-over big apple. Jack takes it on himself to travel to New York and save his son.
Jake Gyllenhaal plays a very convincing worried son, but on the other hand, his on screen father, Jack, dosent seem all that bothered by the early coming ice age, and decides to walk across America. Although the jaw dropping special effects leave you wondering 'What do I do if an ice age comes?'.
